Where Can I Be Involved?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries. We believe the church is a body of believes that is beyond the four walls of the building where we gather.
Outreach
Gospel Tabernacle Susanville is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in supporting missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community. We actively look for opportunities to serve our community through food donations, serving at Crossroads, clothes drives, and others services.
Children and Youth Ministries
We believe that children are the future church. It is imperative that we instill the Word of God into our children building a strong foundation of believers. Our children’s ministry consists of an interactive web based program that provides Bible stories, worship, games, and arts and crafts centered around the love of Christ. Children’s ministries is always looking for fun, vibrant, and encouraging volunteers that can inspire and encourage our children in God’s love. Currently, youth ministries is under development; but we are confident that God is working to grow this ministry. All volunteers working with children will go through a background check for the safety of our children.
Music
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Church members get involved in our music. Some play their instruments and other sing. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God. There is always room for more musicians.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of our church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are broadcast livestream. We also maintain an active Facebook and YouTube feed and send out regular emails for additional church communication.
Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Throughout the week, Prayer Warriors pray for their pastor, church members, and any special requests.
